Hey Rukh Gate! How are you doing? We'd really like to apologize for our lack of presence during the holidays. With our mods on hiatus due to travel, medical reasons or being just plain busy wrapping presents and attending parties, it has been difficult for us to be around this month. Don't despair, we're picking up the slack as we speak. It won't happen again!

With that out of the way, I'm here to bring everyone what we've all been waiting for: the game's events for the month of December!

Let it snow, let is snow, let it snow!
Until the end of December, there will be an abundance of 2nd type rukh in the air. For the first time in history, it will be snowing in Magnoshutatt! In addition, this will enable magicians to cast snow and ice magic with ease! On the other hand, spells that use 1st type rukh (Heat Magic) aren't as accessible. In easier terms, ice magic will take half the effort to cast and be twice as powerful, while heat magic will take twice the effort to cast and be half as powerful.

Mistletoe exists in this world, but there's something peculiar about the way it works in this city. If two people stand under it - no matter their sex or orientation - they will feel a warm, fuzzy feeling inside them. They might feel embarrassed, giddy and in extreme cases, lovey-dovey. The rukh around them will turn pink because of these feelings! And if they were already feeling giddy before? The rukh glow even pinker, and their feelings will grow until they can't fight them anymore! Kissing (and quite possibly hilarity) may ensue.

Don't worry! The effects will wear off as soon as you step out of the mistletoe's way. The mistletoe will be around until the end of December.

Mogamett's Little Helpers
Part of the winter festival tradition is gift-giving! Students may be required to make toys for magician children for class credit until the 29th. Speaking of classes, there will be none from the 24th to the 25th. Don't forget, toys for magician children only! Please keep in mind that all toys depicting royalty are banned. If found, they will be confiscated and destroyed by Magnoshutatt officials.
